QUINAPP

A music bingo for events. Every square is a song; the host draws them live and phones check the winning cards.

Connects to Spotify, turns a playlist into printable cards with a signed QR, draws songs live with 30-second snippets, and validates winners by scanning the card with a phone.

What it is

A tool for running music bingo: every square on a card is a song. The host draws songs one by one, players mark their cards and call line or bingo. QUINAPP handles the whole thing: building the list, generating the cards, printing them, drawing live and checking the winners.

A guided five-step wizard (Spotify, playlist, songs, cards, play) makes it usable without any technical knowledge. An advanced mode opens the full operator console.

There is also a web version you can use right now at quinapp.ipaud.dev, with nothing to install: create a game, print the cards and play from the browser.

From paper to phone

Each card is printed as a PDF, two per A4 page or one per A5, with its own QR code signed with HMAC SHA-256. To check a winner, you scan the QR with a phone on the same Wi-Fi: batch scanning, with sound, vibration and a photo fallback.

Draws are deterministic: the same seed gives the same order, so any game can be replayed exactly.

Software

One small Node server, with no framework, serves everything: the API, real-time updates so the host, the big screen and the players stay in sync, the SQLite database, the PDFs and the QR codes. It runs in the browser on macOS, Windows and Linux, with an optional Mac desktop app and a thin Android client.
